In response to my saying gun laws only affect good people who follow laws, anti-you-have-a-gun people will point to places like Canada as an example of how gun control is effective at stopping criminals from having guns. However, I came across this story from DJ Akademiks that says otherwise. DJ Akademiks has a massive following on YouTube and social media, where he breaks down the latest trends, controversies, and drama in hip-hop. He’s basically the Tucker Carlson of the rap world after he left Fox and he happens to also be very pro 2A. In this video, DJ Akademiks explains what happened to him in Canada and gives a first-hand account of how messed up gun control laws are.
